Good morning, and happy Friday. In 2016, 11-year-old Konnor McClain proclaimed that she would compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics during an appearance on Steve Harvey’s since-canceled talk show, Little Big Shots. Now 18 and just one year away from the Olympic trials, she’s closer than ever to making that prediction a reality.

Plus, Netflix says password sharing is over — but here’s how to do it anyway.

A Future Crisis Could Turn Into A Permanent Gold Mine

The world's population is booming, and so is the demand for food. With estimates projecting a staggering 9.7 billion people by 2050, we face a challenge: feeding 38% more individuals on the same amount of land. To meet this demand, food production must soar by 60%.

But here's the catch: unresolved food waste exacerbates the problem. In the United States alone, we discard a shocking 40 million tons of food annually, accounting for 30-40% of the food supply. And our Canadian neighbors toss out over 39 million tons. The consequences are dire, forcing us to produce excessive amounts of food and, subsequently, fertilizer. But, one company has a solution…

Introducing SusGlobal Energy Corp (SNRG), the game-changer addressing food waste and the fertilizer shortage. They ingeniously harness millions of tons of organic food waste to create highly effective fertilizers, rivaling or surpassing expensive alternatives.

Don't let this opportunity slip away. Discover the perfect union of the right idea, the right timing, and the right execution. Get your FREE report now to learn more about this groundbreaking company before it's too late.

A Wild Week

Over the past week, former President Trump has pled not guilty to federal charges alleging he improperly kept classified documents at his home in Mar-A-Lago. Meanwhile, efforts to investigate President Biden have intensified — amid allegations he received a $5 million bribe while serving as vice president.

From The Flag: For Trump, it marked the first time a former president was arrested on federal charges — after he made history earlier this year in New York City by becoming the first former president to face criminal charges. Meanwhile, the Biden family’s alleged pay-for-play scheme is putting pressure on the current White House. Here’s more from both sides.

LEFT-LEANING SENTIMENT

We’ve Seen the Photos: Those Documents and Trump’s Rants Can’t Be Denied

  • Trump continues to claim he’s the victim of this prosecution — even though we’ve all seen the photos of boxes of documents at his home.

  • This is a sad and stunning moment in US history, as well as a critical test of the justice system, given how serious these charges are.

  • Trump provided a 2024 preview: rants about a two-tiered justice system, sporadically entertaining whining, and promises of revenge.

Trump's Arrest Is Ugly. It's Also Democracy in Action Margaret Sullivan, The Guardian Opinion: "Trump continually tries to draw a connection where there isn’t one: between being popular and being above the law. Maybe it works like that in authoritarian countries, but it’s not the American way. His facts are twisted out of context, too. Recall that Trump lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton in 2016; she had the largest popular vote margin of any losing presidential candidate in American history; and, of course, in 2020, Trump lost altogether – and decisively – to Joe Biden. Tuesday’s day-long spectacle was inevitable. So was Trump’s victimized rhetoric – 'I didn’t do anything wrong,' he insisted to one interviewer in recent days, even though we’ve all seen the images of sensitive documents sitting beneath a chandelier in a gaudy Mar-a-Lago bathroom. And some of us have read the stunning indictment, more persuasive than even that damning photograph."

Trump’s Case a Crucial Test for Justice in America Jill Filipovic, CNN Opinion: "Tuesday marked a sad and stunning moment in American history: A former president arriving at a federal courthouse, then put under arrest by US Marshals, accused of placing the nation’s security at risk in the mishandling of classified documents and then obstructing efforts to investigate his alleged crimes. ... And the charges themselves make this moment all the more troubling. Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to all 37 federal charges at a federal courthouse in Miami on Tuesday afternoon. He stands accused of illegally taking classified national security documents with him when he left office in January 2021, then allegedly sharing some of those documents – which include highly sensitive national security secrets – with people who do not have security clearances, then refusing to return all of the documents, and then lying about it and conspiring to cover it up."

RIGHT-LEANING SENTIMENT

We’re Watching the FBI and DOJ Interfere in Elections — in Real Time

  • The FBI is now effectively working toward the political interests of Democrats, as evidenced by the slow-walked Biden investigations.

  • The Biden administration is trying to take out Trump before Americans can vote for him because he does against the permanent DC agenda.

  • To watch the FBI protect President Biden and Hillary Clinton, while ruthlessly going after Trump, is stunning.

The FBI is Now a Democrat SuperPAC Brian C. Joondeph, American Thinker: "Trump was indicted over so-called classified documents that remain hidden. ... I predict that if there is a trial, it will drag out through campaign season, only to be dropped on election day, having served its original intent of election interference by the Biden administration. On the same day as the indictment, the FBI, under Congressional pressure, finally coughed up documents verifying their slow-walked investigation into an alleged $5 million bribe to then Vice President Biden from a Ukraine energy company. Joe Biden has been confirmed as 'the big guy' by a Burisma executive, after a few years ago being called the same over peddling his vice presidential status and influence to China. The FBI is 'investigating' a $5 million bribe paid to 'the big guy' but are sure keeping the investigation quiet. No swat raids. No indictments. No arrests."

Why the Biden Administration Is Trying To Take Out Trump Tucker Carlson, Twitter: "The federal government spent $6.5 trillion dollars last year. ... where did all the money go? It's certainly not here. Well, it's in Washington. ... in leafy, perfectly-manicured Northwest DC. And of course a huge chunk of it went to Ukraine... because Joe Biden and his many allies from Chuck Schumer to Mitch McConnell to Paul Ryan and to every single news anchor on all of television, all of them believe that Ukraine -- its borders, its future, its infrastructure are all more important than the town that you live in. ... Everyone in power thinks that, except for Donald Trump. Whatever else you say about him, Trump is the one guy with an actual shot of becoming president who dissents from Washington's longstanding pointless war agenda. And for that, that one fact, they are trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him."

8 in 10 Republicans Say DJT Indictment is “Politically Motivated”

Polling that began exactly a week ago, when word broke of the coming indictment, finds 81% of self-identified Republicans feel the latest indictment against former President Trump is “politically motivated.”

But a majority (62%) said it’s “believable” that Trump broke the law by improperly storing classified documents, including 91% of Democrats and 35% of Republicans.

Trump topped all candidates for the Republican primary at 43%, trailed mostly closely by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 22%. The indictment would seem to have little impact in that respect — as Trump led DeSantis 49% to 19% in May (Reuters/Ipsos).

First roller coaster in America opens

On June 16, 1884, the first roller coaster in America opens at Coney Island, in Brooklyn, New York. Known as a switchback railway, it was the brainchild of LaMarcus Thompson, traveled approximately six miles per hour and cost a nickel to ride. The new entertainment was an instant success and by the turn of the century there were hundreds of roller coasters around the country.
