LEFT-LEANING SENTIMENT
Harris Is the Better Choice
The Top Argument From The Left: The case against Donald Trump is clear. Here's the case for Kamala Harris, Doyle McManus, Los Angeles Times: “It's easy to argue why Americans should vote against Donald Trump. The former president neither understands nor respects the Constitution. He would use the powers of the federal government as an instrument of his whims, prosecuting political opponents and rewarding donors instead of serving the public interest. Armed with a grant of immunity from the Supreme Court, he would run roughshod over the rule of law. The most basic case for Vice President Kamala Harris, then, is that her election would protect our democracy from the damage Trump would do. But the positive case for a Harris presidency is also strong, if not as stark. … She has promised to seek consensus and compromise, two words Trump has rarely uttered. We could use a dose of both. … Harris' economic policies are less likely to produce runaway inflation and deficits than Trump's. Most economists say his high, indiscriminate tariffs would raise prices on both imports and domestic goods. … Harris has offered serious proposals to address three pressing problems: housing, childcare and elder care. … And, of course, she would work to ensure that women can make decisions about abortion without state governments endangering their lives.”

RIGHT-LEANING SENTIMENT
Trump Is the Better Choice
The Top Argument From The Right: Trump Isn’t Perfect, but He’s the Better Choice, Nikki Haley, The Wall Street Journal: “I don’t agree with Mr. Trump 100% of the time. But I do agree with him most of the time, and I disagree with Ms. Harris nearly all the time. That makes this an easy call. Here are the facts most relevant to me. Americans today on average face some $13,000 in higher annual costs than they did four years ago. Prices on nearly everything—food, gasoline, utility bills, insurance—have gone up. This is the direct result of the Biden-Harris agenda, which stoked inflation and stuck families with the bill. Americans are stuck with another bill, too: the national debt. It has reached nearly $36 trillion… A Trump administration would be different. It wouldn’t be perfect. But I agree with Mr. Trump that we need to keep taxes low and cut them more. I agree that we need to roll back trillions of dollars in special-interest handouts. I agree that we need to expand American energy to empower our families and job creators while making us less dependent on foreign energy. I agree with Mr. Trump that America should be strong—far stronger than we are today. … The world is unsafe under Biden-Harris, and we shouldn’t expect that to change under a Harris administration.”
Honorable Mention #1: This race is close but I’m predicting Donald Trump wins the Electoral College — and possibly the popular vote, Henry Olsen, New York Post

Deadlocked
In a last-minute poll by Emerson College and The Hill, Harris and Trump are locked in tight races across critical swing states ahead of Election Day. Trump has a slight advantage in Arizona (50% to 48%), Georgia (50% to 49%), North Carolina (49% to 48%), and Pennsylvania (49% to 48%), while Harris leads in Michigan by (50% to 48%).
Both candidates are tied at 48% in Nevada and 49% in Wisconsin, underscoring the narrow margins across these battlegrounds. Notably, none of these leads fall outside the poll’s margin of error, emphasizing the potential volatility as voters head to the polls (The Hill).
